The Marist Brothers Center at Esopus sits on top of 120 acres along the majestic Hudson River and is home to both staff and volunteers. The Center boasts a Retreat House, Olympic sized pool, indoor/outdoor sports courts and fields, and more. Equipped with accommodations from single rooms to large dormitories, the Center is ideal for short or long stays for individuals and groups.
The MBCE opens its gates as the Mid-Hudson Valley Camp during the summer months, and in the remainder of the year, the Center is open to diverse groups of people seeking a space for community and reflection.
Whether you have a particular program planned, or are looking to utilize the resources of MBCE to design and facilitate your gathering, you will find everything you need at the Center to provide a unique, meaningful experience for your specific group.
The MBCE is built on values of welcome and acceptance, joyful service to others, community, simplicity and humility. These values and love of God mark the programs offered by the Center, as well as the approach of all who live and serve there.
To hold a retreat or program at the MBCE, please submit our Initial Inquiry Form.
In addition to hosting retreats and programs for a variety of groups, the Center also holds a number of Marist Provincial Programs geared towards Marist schools and those who are looking for education on the Marist mission and charism.
