Buildings and Grounds Committee
Bob has served on the MBCE Board since 2015. He is the chair for the MBCE Building and Grounds Committee. His responsibilities are to work with the Esopus staff in order to report any recommendations for physical plant, grounds and special projects to the MBCE Board. His connection and introduction with the Marist Brothers started in the early 1970’s when he was an undergraduate at Marist College. He had the pleasure of being taught by an exceptional group of dedicated Marist Brother’s faculty and attended classes with many Marist Student Brothers. After graduating from Marist College, Bob continued to serve Marist College in a number of capacities such as Assistant Residence Director, Marist College Residential Freshman Mentor, Director of Marist Little People’s Summer and Coordinator of Marist Intramural Program.
In the early 1980’s Bob was a science teacher for 5th – 8th graders and religious educator at St. Mary’s School, Poughkeepsie, New York. At present, Bob is now serving as the Marist College Director of Student Activities. He continues to serve as host for many on campus Marist Brother celebrations and Marist Youth Gatherings. In 2009, Bob was recognized as an affiliated member of the Marist Brothers of the US Province. This honor is a culmination of keeping with his Christian faith and to celebrate the Charism of Saint Marcellin Champagnat.
