Brother Michael is a Marist Brother who is and always was a strong advocate for the Marist Brothers Center at Esopus. He was responsible for moving Mount St. Michael retreats to the Center when he was Campus Minister from 1994-1998 and 2002- 2003, and he has been participating in Encounter Retreats at the Center since 1981. He is the Province Historian on St. Marcellin Champagnat for the Marist Brothers United States Province and has been a frequent presenter on Marcellin Champagnat at Sharing Our Call, a Province hosted program at the MBCE for U.S. high school teachers and staff as an introduction to the life of Marcellin Champagnat, Marist pedagogy and the Marist mission to evangelize through the Christian education of youth. Presently ministering at Marist College, Brother Michael has sent many students to help with volunteer activities at the Center. Brother Michael has held many positions in schools and administrative positions in the Province and General Administration in Rome.
